Each Body Stone starts with a core formula of cocoa butter and four nourishing base oils: sweet almond, apricot kernel, avocado, and fractionated coconut. That's literally it. From there, Kate adds pure essential oils that provide benefits for both body and mind. The Forest Stone has a zesty, earthy blend of woody hinoki and sweet, citrusy yuzu.

My normal stone is the Grounding stone, so I wanted to try something else in the woody family. This scent is much deeper and almost smokey in its complexity. Definitely warm and comforting for winter!

This lotion bar has been the perfect way to keep my winter dry skin in check. The scent is subtle (and wonderful) and doesn't overpower or linger too long. Love the minimal packaging too.
Absolutely love this moisturizer! It really does glide on the skin so easy and gently. My skin loves it too, very moisturized. I love the smell as well, but I only recommend if you like that “forest, nature” smell (which I do).
I did not give it 5 starts only because it goes pretty fast. Spending $30-45 on a moisturize that only lasts about a month (I use it once a day over my entire body) can definitely be more expensive for some (me included), as other brands can last months for a fraction of the price. However it’s up to you on what you value, and for me it is supporting low/zero waste brands.
I did find out about this brand through Pinterest and the person promoting it said that their stone lasted about a year, which, if you use it like I do, is completely misleading (however, the company themselves has never claimed this, so it my fault for believing in an incredible source)
Overall, great moisturizer and will likely purchase again!
