Still good, even though I miss the old stone
I’ve been using the new face balm for a couple of weeks now, after having used the face stone for months and loved it. I think the balm itself is still great—I’m unsure if the formula has changed, but it seems very similar to that of the original face stone. The new paper applicator is…ok. It will definitely travel easier, but it seems like less product overall, and it’s not as easy or as satisfying to apply. While the old face stone felt like giving yourself a mini facial every day, this is kind of like applying a giant tube of chapstick to your face. You have to hold a finger on the bottom to keep the balm out, lest you press the balm back into the paper and scrape your face. It’s just not as luxurious as the face stone. I still like it though, and would probably purchase again because the formula is that good.

Very hydrating
Great formula, and very hydrating. Make sure to rub it in all the way or else it can leave a bit of a greasy look to the skin. I also really like the packaging and how easy it is to travel with, no mess!

My Go To Face Balm!
I absolutely Love this product along with the body bar. I got. This is what I’m finishing off or refreshing my look every day now. I have many high-end products and I’m finding myself reaching for this one daily. I love everything about it… Except the container it comes in. Although I do love the sustainability aspect, after only using it for a couple days the paper lip with the top goes on is unraveling, making it unravel more each time I put the top on and harder to put the top on each time. Not really that big of a deal but still I do hope this container issue gets rectified by the time I need another one (because I Will be getting another one). I also enjoy the push pop style of delivery. Thank you for making such wonderful clean products!

Amazing product
I love my face balm. I used the face stone before and loved it as well. The new formulation works just as nicely. I don’t have one grip though… I am not a fan of the new packaging. Could we please get a stone option? The application was much more relaxing and I also find that the cardboard tube is getting misshapen around the rim each time I put the lid back on. I much preferred my pretty glass jar with the face stone inside. But I have absolutely no complaints about the balm itself. It’s the best moisturizer.

Best of all worlds
I am a devoted face stone user and especially loved the balance and soothe stones. This face balm combines the best of all three prior face stones- it’s unscented but also contains the gentle retinol substitute and sea buckthorn oil for extra skin boosting properties. It goes on smoothly without being greasy- in fact, my skin is less greasy with this formula than with the discontinued face stones. It also makes my skin look pretty soft and smooth- feels like a facelift in a stick! I also love the plastic-free packaging, which is much more travel-friendly than the glass jar or travel case (which are pretty heavy). Highly recommend!

So small for the price. Also the packaging is frustrating because it gets caught every time I put the lid back on. I was so excited for this product and sadly would not recommend.
