Shipping Information
What carrier do you ship with?
We ship all U.S. orders via the United States Postal Service (USPS). We also offer expedited shipping via Fedex.
What is the timeline for shipment?
Orders are typically shipped from Kate McLeod within 1-3 business days, but may take up to 5 business days to ship during the warmer months (June-September).
Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us that contains tracking information. After leaving our facility, transit time depends on the shipment method selected at checkout:
Standard Shipping (USPS): ships in 1-3 business days, arrives in 5-7 business days after shipment
2nd Day Air (Fedex): ships in 1-3 business days, arrives in 1-2 days after shipment
Overnight (Fedex): ships in 1–3 business days, arrives the next day after shipment
Please note that any delivery delays after shipment from our warehouse are beyond our control. However, we are always happy to work with you if any issues arise.
Do you split shipments?
In an effort to be as eco-friendly as possible, we unfortunately cannot support split shipments at this time. Our policy is to ship your entire package when all items are in stock.
Do you ship internationally?
We only ship to the United States and their associated territories at this time. Associated territories include: American Samoa, Micronesia, Guam, Marshall Islands, Northern Marina Islands, Palau, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Armed Forces America, Armed Forces Europe, and Armed Forces Asia.

Do you have any discounts available?
Absolutely! You can find a list of our available discounts here. Please be advised that our discounts are only eligible on one-time purchases of any regularly priced item. Subscriptions and gift sets are ineligible for discounts at this time. If you are having issues applying your discount to your order.
Please be advised that shipping discounts apply to pre-tax subtotals only.
How do I check the status of my order?
To check the status of your order, you can navigate to your customer account through the customer icon in the top right corner of our website. From there, you can login and track your orders. You should also receive an email with tracking information once your order has shipped.
Where is my order coming from?
Your order will be shipped from our fulfillment center in Ohio. All of our products are handcrafted in small batches at our Hudson Valley, NY workshop before making their way to you.
Warm Weather Advisory
Our plant-based solid moisturizers are made to melt on contact with your skin as they're formulated without any sticky wax or synthetics. This means they can also melt when exposed to extreme heat. To reduce the risk of melts while your package is in transit, we have implemented the following:
- We actively monitor the current temperature at all shipping destinations to evaluate the proper pack and ship method. When shipping to a warm-weather location, we include ice packs and ship via USPS Priority mail free of charge for orders over $75.
- We take care to minimize transit times over the weekend - during the warm months, orders may take up to 2 additional business days to ship.
- We searched far and wide for the most sustainable and effective cool ship packaging that we feel good about, and we think you will too. All shipments to warm-weather destinations will include biodegradable and dissolvable insulated foam liners made of US-grown, non-GMO corn, as well as reusable, sweat-resistant ice packs! We recommend taking these additional steps to help us ensure your package arrives to you in optimal condition:
- Ship your package to an address where somebody will be available to accept the delivery.
- Bring your package inside as soon as you receive your delivery confirmation e-mail to avoid your package sitting outside in direct sunlight or inside a warm mailbox.
- If you didn't catch your package in time and softening occurs, pop your product into the fridge for 30 mins of chill time.

Return Policy
What is your return and refund policy?
Due to the nature of our products, Kate McLeod does not accept returns or exchanges for any reason.
However, your satisfaction is our top priority, and we will do everything we can to ensure your happiness. If you experience any issues with your purchase (i.e., if a product arrives damaged or is defective), please reach out to us at support@katemcleod.com. We will happily work with you to make things right.
