Shipping Details

General Shipping Information

We ship all U.S. orders via the United States Postal Service (USPS).

Orders typically ship from Kate McLeod 2-3 business days after they are placed, unless otherwise noted on our website and in your order confirmation email (i.e if your purchase includes a backordered item).

Please note that in the effort to be as eco-friendly as possible, we do not standardly split shipments. Our policy is to ship your entire package when all items in your order are in stock. 

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us that contains tracking information. After leaving our facility, transit time depends on the shipment method selected at checkout (and may be subject to COVID-related shipping delays beyond what is indicated below):

USPS First Class / Priority: about 3-5 business days until delivery

USPS Priority Mail Express: about 1-2 business days until delivery

Once a package is in the hands of USPS we are not able to amend delivery address errors, and please note that any delivery delays with the postal service are beyond our control. However, we are always happy to work with you if any issues arise. Simply email us at support@katemcleod.com.

International Shipping Information

Beyond the U.S., we currently ship to Canada, Australia, and Europe via UPS, FedEx, and DHL.

All our prices are listed in USD and subject to duties / tariffs upon arrival in your country. Before ordering, we recommend international customers check the current exchange rate and duties on imported U.S. beauty products to get the best estimate of what you will be charged.

Return Policy

How do I make changes to or cancel my order?

We work to get orders shipped as quickly as possible. As soon as payment is accepted and an order is confirmed, it is immediately processed for packaging and shipment. This means that there is only a very small window of time where we can catch an order before it is shipped -- and we cannot guarantee that we will be able to process an order cancellation, or make any desired changes to an order, after an order has been placed.

Does Kate McLeod accept returns / exchanges?

Due to the nature of our products, and especially in light of COVID19, Kate McLeod does not accept returns or exchanges for any reason.

However, your satisfaction is our top priority, and we will do everything we can to ensure your happiness. If you experience any issues with your purchase (i.e., if a product arrives damaged or is defective), please reach out to us at support@katemcleod.com within 10 days of receiving your order. We will happily work with you to make things right.

Warm Weather Advisory

Will Body Stones melt in warm weather?

Body Stones are designed to melt on contact with the body and therefore have a melting point close to your body temperature (~ 98°F / 37°C). We take great care to package our product in such a way so as to ensure safe delivery into your hands. However, Kate McLeod is proudly plastic-free and works hard to maintain a low carbon footprint, so we do not ship with insulation or freezer pack materials.

During the summer months it is possible that our Body Stones will soften while in transit. Especially if you live in a steamier climate, we strongly encourage stocking up prior to the peak of summer. If you are ordering during the summer or live in a hot location, please order at your own risk! To avoid disappointment, we recommend reaching out to us with any concerns you have about melting before you place your order.

Here are our tips for making sure your Body Stones survives in warmer weather:

Ship your package to an address where somebody will be available to accept the delivery (e.g., office address)

Bring your package inside as soon as you receive your delivery confirmation e-mail

Don’t let your package sit in direct sunlight on a porch or in a mailbox (both can turn into an oven in the summer sun!)

If melting does occur, we recommend popping your Body Stone into the fridge to solidify - in most cases, it’ll still be usable and provide highly concentrated nourishment (even without its beautiful Stone shape!)

We suggest storing your Body Stone on your washroom shelf, on your bedside table, by that vase of eucalyptus near the kitchen sink -- anywhere you please so long as it's outside of direct sunlight. Our natural ingredients are sensitive to extreme heat, so take care to keep your Body Stone safely nestled in a cool, dry place. We further recommend re-wrapping your Body Stone in its linen wrap after each use and storing it in our signature Bamboo Canister, if you’ve purchased one, as bamboo provides superior protection against heat and humidity.
